C.S. Forester Books

C.S. Forester (1899-1966) was one of the most popular authors of naval and military fiction and non-fiction. Forester is probably best known for the dozen books in his Horatio Hornblower series, which spawned a popular movie starring Gregory Peck, and a series of television movies with Ioan Gruffudd as a young Hornblower. Also found on this page is C. Northcote Parkinson’s The Life and Times of Horatio Hornblower, a “biography” of the fictional admiral.
